One day Cleaning & Hygiene Training at Birtamode, Jhapa, Province No.1 for Dairy Industries organized by Belz Instruments Nepal Pvt. Ltd.
The main purpose of this training to aware Dairy Industries about the importance of Cleaning and Hygiene (C&H) to uplift the product safety and quality.
Three indispensible components of C&H were focused, namely, Clean-in-place (CIP), Open Plant Cleaning (OPC) and Personnel Hygiene. Discussions were made up on:
- Importance of C&H on milk production area.
- The consequences of improper C&H on both dairy industry and consumer’s safety.
- Introduction to CIP, OPC and Personnel Hygiene in dairy beginning from farm to processing and areas.
- Introducing effective methods to enhance effectiveness and efficiency of C&H in dairy industries.
The local government also supported the event by showing participation. Various problems regarding C&H in different industries were presented by the participants and our solutions to those were discussed collectively.
Overall, the event was a success based on active participation of the participants which motivated us on organizing such trainings in the near future.
